Low-carbon steel wire

(Drawn – up to a tensile strength of 1000 N/mm²)

This wire is specifically used for the production of wire bending parts, wire pins, and wire meshes. It is characterized by excellent weldability and suitability for surface finishing (electroplating, chrome plating, plastic coating).

Surface finishes: dry bright (lubricated bright), bright polished, and wet bright.

For cold-drawn round steel wire, the permissible dimensional and shape tolerances according to DIN EN 10218-2 apply. The wire rods made of non-alloy steel used for drawing comply in part with DIN EN 10016-1.

Packaging:
– in coils (weight approx. 500–1,500 kg)
– in small coils (weight approx. 200 kg)
– in mill coils (weight approx. 100–150 kg)
